5th Annual Golf Tournament
Thank You For Your Support!
Paul Harvey once said, “Golf is a game in which you yell ‘fore,’ shoot six, and write down five.”
Thank you to all the golfers who came out for the tournament! This event is so important for our food ministry in the bateys. God gave us beautiful weather for the event, and everyone seemed to have a great time (even if a few weren’t very pleased with their scores!).
Save the date of September 7, 2018 and make plans to join us for next year’s event!
Join us in showing appreciation to the following businesses and individuals who supported this event with sponsorships and donations.

June 2017 Mission Team Trip — Recap
In many respects, this week was similar to other past mission team weeks: Delicious local food served by Hortencia and her crew of kitchen helpers; beautiful sunrises following a strangely comforting wake-up call from the roosters, dogs, motor bikes, and other noises; our bus driver, Roberto, shuttling us to the warehouse and the work site; mixing concrete with our Dominican helpers (or are they mixing concrete with their Americano helpers?); and meeting the families who would receive the blessing of a concrete floor to replace the dirt floor in their home (we planned to complete 8, and were able to complete 9 – Praise God!).
Bible School was great with so many kids eager to participate; riding on the blue truck for the food distribution; the mid-week afternoon at the beach and chicken dinner followed by ice cream; and the re-kindling (or beginning) of many friendships on the mountain.
If you are interested in coming with us on one of our mission trips in January, please fill out the trip application and send it to us, or contact us with any questions or information you would like.
