After many planning delays and then a year of pandemic pause, work has finally begun to transform our warehouse in Barahona to the Ministry Hub! The two large entry doors on the front side of the building have been modified, and a parge coating has been applied to the exterior walls.
A base coat of paint has been applied to the parged walls to protect the work from the elements. We plan to complete the final exterior painting during our January 2022 mission team.
Ricardo reports that the neighbors are very pleased about the changes and have complimented him on the new look. Take a look at the photos below and let us know what you think!
The next phase of the project will include installation of exterior signage and lighting. Following the exterior painting, we plan to have a local artist add several murals to the walls, depicting bible characters and stories.
