About Us

The Least of These Ministries is an ecumenical Christian ministry headquartered in Carroll County, Maryland. Founded in 1998 by Steve & Ann Hull, this organization is dedicated to carrying Christ’s message to the Haitian & Dominican workers in the sugar cane, banana, and plantain work camps within the Dominican Republic. 

The ministry’s flagship project is a supplemental food distribution program which serves many families across 14 bateys (communities) each week.  Our hope is to improve residents’ health, strengthen their resolve and desire to help themselves.  Support is offered for both physical and spiritual needs of the residents of these communities.

Quick Facts:

The Ministry provides one meal a week consisting of uncooked rice or Manna Packs, beans, and eggs to several thousand people in the Barahona area bateys.

‘Manna Packs’ are protein-fortified rice meals provided to us through a partnership with Feed My Starving Children.

The Least of These Ministries currently distributes over 850,000 meals annually, a project that has been faithfully ongoing since 1998.

A $10.00 donation provides approximately 80 meals.
